Medline Plus Drugs & Supplements Page - Provides information about prescription and non-prescription drugs from AHFS Consumer Medication Information (American Society of Health-System Pharmacists).  Also includes information for herbal medicines and supplements from Natural Standard.

CenterWatch Drug Directories - Features drugs newly approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and those currently in clinical research.

Drug Digest - Information on prescription drugs, vitamins, herbs, and supplements as well as drug comparisons and interactions and news about medications.

Drug Infonet - Information about drugs and drug interactions plus pharmaceutical company addresses.

FDA Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER Drug Information) - Information about prescription drugs approved by the FDA in the last several years. Some may not yet be on the market.

Paying for Prescription Medications

Prescription Drug Prices in New York State - This site provides price comparisons for 150 prescription drugs at various drugstores in New York State. The “Resources” tab provides links to Drug Prescription Assistance Programs.

EPIC (Elderly Pharmaceutical Insurance Coverage Program) - A New York State sponsored prescription plan to help senior citizens save money on prescription drugs.
